The Stretch of a Leap

It came as a reverie, but I'd like to call it grabbing life by the lapels. No one said that handling a 1200lb free-spirited animal was easy, but it didnt mean that it was impossible. 12 years in riding horses and not an inch of passion fades away.

 Yogis say that the collision of energies turns into something wondrous. Taoism puts in that these energies come as a slithering snake through the 5 chakras of our mind, ultimately possessing something of great value: our presence.

But the real corner in came as my instructor asked me to jump from a 4-feet-bar rushing at a pace of 25 km/hr, and so it went. Stepped on the brindle, tightened the reign and began a canter-forward. And there we went, momentarily flying in the air. By grace, through fate. As Winston Churchill once said: "The greatest seat you will ever have in life is on a horse's back".

An iota of glance before my eyes

 Nelly Furtado in her infamous song: "I'm like a bird. I only fly away. I don't know where my home is. I don't know where my soul is." 

 The bends, the curves, the details, the shapes, the twists, the turns, the highs, the lows, the soars, the flights,... Sometimes we feel ourselves becoming more "aesthetic". Things are as they are. They are beautiful. Even your mind is.

.. When the camouflage gets right. You don't necessarily conceal yourself. You become contrasting yet whole.

I once heard Maya Angelou on the Oprah Winfrey Show contemplating: And what matters is, knowing yourself better. Because when you know yourself better, you know you are in the right track. YOU MATTER.

Shades of dusk.

You're gonna feel nirvana transcending between your mind and soul each passing day. You are gonna have a thing called- PRESENCE. Maybe, that's how you become sophisticated with simplicity. Life is intricate. Your soul isn't. Your soul will win.
